I haven't installed the app on my IOS phone though, do i need to?

If it's the retweet about @thedjangos, I got the text come through. Mines set up via Twitter notifications, I'm not using this iffffttttiiitt thing

Apparently you can buy an EE sim card for a quid in poundland at the moment, and it comes with a fivers worth of credit. If you've got a spare phone, you could try that

Nope! I signed up, it sent me a pin to connect SMS, connected my twitter and added the recipe.

 

To quote Apple "It just works" (for some)

I tried the 2nd one, have since added the 1st.

 

Ok i just created a new recipe linked to if i send a tweet from my own twitter account and it worked fine. So really not sure why it hasn't worked for the secretglasto ones. Hmmm.

Would it be worth adding to the front page the times and location of sets currently listed as 'Live Band' 

 

Just thinking is some one ead to WG for Wolf Alice they might have shock when its already rammed as there is another un annouced/'Live Band' set before hand.

I've changed my recipe so the texts will read "SG: (tweet)" instead of including the full username to save some characters.

Also, for anyone on 02, just a tip, when you put 0044 in, you might need to then enter the whole number including 0 before the 7, I tried for just 79 etc 1st and it didn't send me a pin until I put 004407. Heads up.

 

Also, do I just find out if this works by going onto SecretGlasto twitter and retweeting? I've got Twitter and iifft thing on my phone, Twitter and SMS Channels connected. Only pain is I'm getting a cheap Glasto phone so this will be switched off most the time. I'm thinking whether to pay a little bit extra for a phone that still has data and twitter etc connection.

 

Also I'd guess if the Twitter thing doesn't work on Tesco/02 networks, you you still have a cheaper phone but still have every connected to each other as all you'd need is the ability to receive a text?

By the way, how can I make sure Twitter is enabled for me to get the tweet? I am following Secretglasto and my notifications are set to ON, my notifications timeline has no filter selected so it won't stop anything.
