Wakey Wakey ....

What time do you try and get up in the mornings whilst there? Do you set an alarm to make sure you don't sleep in?

Regardless of what time I stumble back to my tent, I always try to be up for 9am if I can! Have a stumble around, get some cold milk and some greasy breakfast to set me on my way!

Sleeping in is a waste of precious festival time. Had a mate last year who slept in until 2pm! I couldn't believe it!

Always wake around 8am regardless of the time I went to bed :girldrunk: normally get up at 9-ish unless it's blistering hot. Brekkie around 10. Late afternoon nap if possible (anywhere), then back out and on it. Monday is then a struggle (and Tuesday and Wednesday, if I'm honest...while I slowly detox)

My tent is pink and purple so really light. I always wake up with the sun... usually wake around my usual time of 6am. Nip down, beat the toilet queue then back to bed. Get up properly around 9am.

Had to say it. Anybody watch My Name Is Earl? My first thought on reading the title was "wakey wakey, hands off snakey". I'll probably horrify some of you here but I naturally need a lot of sleep so I go to sleep around 3/4am and wake around midday? Sometimes I need to put an eye mask thing on due to the sun but tend to sleep like a baby anyway!

Yep. I said the same and laughed to myself. Ace

As for the sleep, depends what time I get in, normally 7-8ish, get up at 10-10.30 Can't sleep past then. Always feel like I'm missing out when I hear the goons I'm with chatting outside the tents.

    • Very different in terms of time of game,  yet remember how excited I was before the first game in Euro 2016 having grown up not sure I would ever see wales in an international tournament. That day scraped a win against Slovakia and was just happy to see wales score and win at a tournament, little did I know we would finish in the top 4. Hope Scottish fans get the same experience.

    • I don't think I'm alone as a Scotland fan that there is no way that I could possibly fall asleep knowing we're about to play our first World Cup game in 28 years! Pure adrenaline is keeping me wide awake (and plenty of rum)!
    • Trying to stay awake for the footy so it’s just the easy option of a battery😊😉
