Anyone else watching that grass collector and wondering if he will get that field done today or not?

No idea why I'm fascinated by him but I am rooting for the driver no end

For anyone who was interested they did finish it 👏

This is a link to a story so will disappear soon but an account we'll worth following. She's a sign painter at the festival and posts loads of stuff (including leaking George Ezra last year)...

Fuck, fuck, fuck.... Nothing gets me more excited for Glasto than the drop of the map, the start of the fence build and the Pyramid stage getting its party dress on. I thought I was coping well with missing out on tickets this year but clearly not.

Not going to lie, I am getting more and more jealous every day now of all you lucky golden ticket holders

Have fun everybody!

Have a look at the Facebook Festival Jobs page, there’s usually something going.

Hows the weather down there today?

It's a perfect Spring morning. T shirt and shorts weather.

Few things going on in this - the fence is (nearly!) joined up, the covers are going up on the Other stage, and the Pyramid front covers have started!

I'm currently about 10 miles away from Pilton and it's this here....

I often romanticise the areas surrounding a festival, thinking it'd be the perfect place to live. This kind of confirms it!

The immediate area surrounding Latitude is beautiful and serene too.

Passed three large red Sparrows cranes heading for the site on the way to work this mornng.

Crane action at Ribbon Tower.

Talking of work, I had better go and do some now rather than watching the action down on the farm 😂

Unacceptable attitude i'm afraid 😄

I have done so little work over the past couple of weeks and intend to continue to do very little work until the festival is done.

Then it's the countdown to october...

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
