2 good things have happened today :) 

1) my Glastonbury ticket has turned up, I`m trying for another forum member and have been here since day one.

2) the phone I lost last weekend at BT was found and returned to me by post today.

So lets hope all good things comes in 3`s and they put on sale any returns.

Apologies, I asked yesterday but no-one responded. I am going on holiday tomorrow and although I know I will not receive the Checkpage text, will I still receive an email? If not does anyone have any suggestions on good alternatives for my tracking on my phone whilst abroad? I will have very intermittent access to my laptop.

I still received the check page texts when I was in the Bahamas

I am overseas at the moment & receive checkpage text alerts. You just have to make sure your phone is set up for overseas. There is wifi all over hotel so I carry my phone, iPad with right page open & my registration & payment on a piece of paper with me at all times. Very sad.

I think they can't assuming they're not using UK phone numbers.

Brilliant, I am going to a three day wedding so I am going to have to be surreptitious, although at this point even if the resale does come I think we have ruled out Saturday and Sundays. I will mainly be monitoring tomorrow and Monday. I have the seetickets page open all times on my phone with all the reg and payment details copy and pasted into an email which I also keep open at all times.. might be easier than your piece of paper :)

I've received the checkpage alerts in every destination I've been the last two weeks. Bathroom, kitchen, pub, pizza east.. etc. :D

 

A lot of people accuse me of not being very helpful.. i think they're full of crap!

I just don't want to panic about retrieving anything else....I printed off the piece of paper 10 times so that I have one everywhere. So sad.

      I guess we'll just have to wait until videos of the shows go up, but the fact that the standing is also greyed out still suggests to me that those sections just sold out out before the others and a blue block just be like 3 tickets left, it's still not concrete proof they never went on sale and if they were never on sale why would they not make it even, if 414 wasn't on sale then you'd think 409 wouldn't be either

      I don’t think the festival automatically ‘need’ to have a female headliner if you have strong female headliners on the Other Stage (which I reckon will be Rosalia and Phoebe Bridgers), perhaps a female legend (praying for Annie, will take Cher), and a few female/mix gendered subs on the Pyramid (maybe London Grammar, The xx). From what I’ve seen of Sabrina, her team prioritises the pay day and I think she will be doing Wembley over Glasto weekend.   One thing I’ve noticed is a lot of the suggestions would be first time headliners and I can’t work out when the last time was that the festival had three artists top the bill that hadn’t topped it before? It seems to be something they like to do to make sure they have a ‘safe’ headliner that will land well with the masses. Plenty of names in that hat that could step back up next summer and should/could be about: Billie Eilish, Adele, Foo Fighters, The Cure, Radiohead, U2…hell, if Beyoncé is really planning to release a ‘rock n roll’ album to complete her Renaissance trilogy, Glastonbury would be a great place to ‘kick off’ that campaign for her.   And there’s always the Rihanna rumour. Her husband (I think) said this week she’s in the studio.
