Hey, a tip is a tip though! I stepped up my game seriously after reading this thread (yes, I read the WHOLE thing prior to missing out on the sales, it was as if I knew I'd end up here). Hopefully I'll be rewarded for all my dedication (and I hope so for all the posters here).

From memory i think there was indeed more than one, a few hours apart for the GA tickets, not quite sure on the stats but remember getting tickets and seeing those magical words that strike panic into this thread - i won't put them here now just in case,

Definitely not! Once tickets are live and you get through to the reg page, that's it chocks away, info in... proceed... payment info in... proceed... try not to have heart attack... hopefully you're lucky

I think it lasted around 3 minutes last year if I remember correctly, it would be interesting to know how many resale tickets were sold.

Did people that entered details within this time largely get tickets then? Because for all of us waiting here 3 minutes would surely be enough!

Nah keep on refreshing. They actually award a pair of tickets for the person who manages to refresh the most times in a 10 minute period. I think.

 

Actually now i really think about it, its probably best to ignore me,

At that stage get on those reg numbers stat! Time is of the essence.

Haha I literally went into meltdown in the April resale and got through to the registration page on my phone but was shaking so much I could not type/ copy and past quick enough. I think I need something to to calm me down!

i don't think it was near 3 mins!…. and there were unfortunately too many casualties

I was just corrected, it was 90 seconds! It felt like a lifetime once I had to go back and re-enter details which caused me to lose out.
Remember it's not just us here either!

£238 + £10 booking fee plus £7 postage?

I think there were - I think 2014 had a couple of v brief coach sales.. and possibly a couple of GA sales. There were definitely multiple sales, just not sure if it was multiple GA sales.
2015 I think it was just GA. They stayed on sale for about 20 mins
2016 just GA. All gone in about 1 minute.

Id keep the figure of £260 for tickets and fees then easily a £50 buffer just incase any last minute contactless payments came out. Mine sometimes show up 3-4 days after for small things like buying a round in a pub

Its £238 ticket plus £5 booking fee.

Plus £7.75 postage per transaction

Plus TicketPlan at £5.50 per ticket if you forget to unclick it in the rush
