Praise be to the almighty Eavii for this booking!

It's going to be a special set, she's one of the most unique artists around at the moment. Where do we think she'll play? She could feasibly go on any of the top stages, but I hope they give her a high up spot on The Park.

have been wanting to see her for the last 18 months but she has cancelled gigs 3 times at very short notice which cost me a small fortune in hotel and train tickets.

Consequently despite wanting to see her and obviously cutting my nose off to spite my face, I will go nowhere near her and she won't get a second of support from me. That bloody women has driven me mental

Great tunes though.

can already see a LOT of clashes happening in the top 2/3 of the main stages. reckon there's gonna be some killer decisions to be made, and reckon this is gonna be one of them

Yep with you there - the lineup is almost too good for me this year.

2nd on West Holts or Park i reckon. really hope she doesn't clash with anybody major as i'd love to see her

I'm really hoping for this too - just can't cope with JP stage these days!!

Determined to see the Twig though, I'm firmly in the 'she's sensational' camp (along with Janelle Monáe and other fantastic contemporary RnB-ers) - great time for music, great line-up!!

Has anyone actually seen her live? I love the album but when watching her Coachella set I thought the set up was bad as you could barely hear her vocals but think this was a set up thing.

Would love to know if she is good in real life? I'm not sure which stage to be honest but really would like to see her :)

I saw her at Pukkelpop last year, she played in the afternoon but in a tent so it was dark and moody. In my opinion it was pretentious twaddle, I didn't last the full show. I saw Young Fathers at the same event and felt the same about them. Everyone else loves both acts and they both reviewed pretty well, so it's probably just me

I just wasn't feeling the love based on the Coachella set so switched off but not going to judge her just on that but thanks for your comments

Funny about Young Fathers everyone does seem to rave about them but when I saw them in Barcelona last year as part of BAM festival in September they didn't really do much for me, they were okay but nothing special IMO

I wonder if her set to be something that doesn't translate that well on to screen? I imagine it to be quite atmospheric which would be entirely lost unless you are there in person.

Whilst I didn't really enjoy her set, it was certainly very atmospheric. Smoke, backlighting, moody but I just didn't connect with it.

I am old...

But FKA Twigs are in my top 5 must sees.

Probably clashing with the other 4.

I've only listed to the album, and intrigued to see how it transfers to live. If done right I imagine it could be pretty captivating.

    • Yeah I did spot that AXS had more available for the O2 shows Muse are doing, though I think that comes with the territory of AXS now being the venue's primary ticket selling platform.    My instinct remains they'll probably still play to a big crowd on the night - sales were similarly slow in 2023 but videos of those gigs showed the venue looking pretty much full. Equally it probably would be sold out if the pricing was even just slightly less ridiculous. Shave up to £50 off some of these categories and I think that would've got people to go with it.
    • Some are definitely already there with that and with another round of inflation looking like it's on the way, it certainly locks that in. And I say that as someone who also isn't willing to break the £100 marker.
    • A lot of people have said this online but does the Marvel world need new cities to play with? New York seems to be a target of all the villains to the point where you wonder why anyone in that world still lives there. Much as you can accuse me of overthinking it I guess haha.    I do agree that The Void is a compellingly different villain in many respects given the superpower is trapping people in their most traumatic memories. Shame in some respects the film came out in the post-Endgame funk Marvel seems stuck in and a lot of people missed out on it.    Speaking of, I rewatched Infinity War the other day. First time I think I've seen it since seeing it in the cinema on its opening day. Holds up pretty well imo - I have issues sometimes with ensemble casts and jumping between 4/5 storylines but it felt this one got the balance right and also properly explored Thanos. So it was good.
    • I didn't think I'd ever watched a Coben adaptation or read one of the original books, though turns out I did - I watched one called The Stranger back in 2020. Clearly didn't stick long in my memory as until researching it, I didn't know that was one of his. Queens Gambit or Black Mirror, it was not.    But clearly it's popular tripe in some respect if Netflix is going yes to everything he has to offer and are apparently about to start trying his most popular individual character, as seen below:   https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2026/jul/30/how-harlan-coben-became-the-king-of-potboiler-tv   Plus hey. Sometimes people get a kick from watching something and deriding it as crap. Don't let this internet rando stop you haha
