The Fall

Turned up with my dad as he is a big fan, wasn't sure what it'd be like. Started off and i was like "uh oh, it's awful" but halfway in i was loving it. Dropout boogie a one of my fave songs too.

The band sounded great. I thought he'd pissed himself, it was quite funny to see him basically going around each mic and starting a fight with them all.

Same here! I'm a big fan and decided to see them over Weller and my dad was sceptical and about 2 songs in my dad said he wanted to kill him and me for missing Weller but then by the end of the set he loved it and said it was chaotically beautiful.

Definitely one of mine and his highlights of the weekend

I went, but was so tired I spent a bit of their set nodding off while standing up. I really enjoyed what I did hear though and it was worth the trek up the hill for my boyfriend's reactions alone:

"What's he saying?! Is this a different song? Has he pissed himself?!?!"

He loved it.

Loved when he was grabbing the guitar so he couldn't play and knocking over the drum mics. Pure shambles but it was brilliant. The two drummers was a nice touch

Me and my mates spent the whole set going, has he pissed himself?

Then laughing at Elenor kicking off and turning her back on the camera man for filming her.

My parents watched this and said the same thing. They said it was so bad it was good, comedy-wise.

Personally, I've never heard any of their stuff before, but I had a look at them on iPlayer. Is the lead singer always out of it, or was this a special occasion? Loved his opening line.

That's just how he is. He drinks in my local from time to time and he's always the same.

I've never seen him piss himself ha.

But bare in mind this is a pub in the city centre that has bands on regularly, youngish crowd. He just sits on a table acting like the old piss head in wetherspoons, its great really no one ever bothers him.

Brilliant! I'd say his wife can't take him anywhere!

I was taking it easy on the Sunday due to the early morning and long drive back up North the following morning.

Walked upto  The Park and had agreed to meet a mate near the mixing desk.

Texted me to say he was down the front so I was off down there a few songs in - I behind the barrier right in the middle

The moshing started and very quickly I had accepted a swig of Absinthe and  then Jagermeister and I found a full litre bottle of rum and coke.

By the end of the set I was well oiled and instead of it being an sedate end to the Festival I carried on drininking and partying till 3.00 am and felt shit at 6.00 am when we had to pack up.

Brilliant set tho - one of the best ever at Glasto , The Fall f*****g nailed it !

One of the best sets of the weekend, a few of my mates watched Weller and the rest of us made the pilgrimage, Worthy in every sense. Loved the attitude from the start, looked fucking mental posturing at the front.

    • Yeah there is no down time, I'm still tired and over thinking from last weeks work. A big reality check this week. If you just do it for the money you always will.

    • Robbie Williams would fit with the current state of the legend’s slot, and he’d bring the house down.
