I remember seeing Leftfield in the mid 90's in the old Town and Country Club in Leeds. Huggy from Back to Basics was the warm up DJ and it was pretty loud. During his last tune he turned it up to the proper volume just before Leftfield came on and the crowd realised what they were in for. The gig was one of the loudest and most bass heavy shows I've been to!

Saw Leftfield last night at the Forum in London. 90 minute set. Inspection check one mid way through and set finished with Phat Planet. The rest was from Alternatice light source which is equally as heavy as the old stuff.

Amazing light show, the bass was ridiculous. Bone shaking. Absolutely fantastic and made our minds up that we will see again at Glasto.

I was a bit disappointed to be honest, but it may have been me flagging after having a big one the night before. I thought it was too quiet - you could hear people talking - and the setlist was a bit off (only two oldies and a couple of slow ones, so the pace dropped). And that song with the guy from Seaford Mods really can F off! It was still good in places though.

Pretty surprised, everyone was commenting how good it was when we left the tent. I was off my face, but I loved it. Head and Shoulders doesn't work, but it other than that I was really impressed. I was about 4/5 people from the front so I couldnt hear any talking.

I had a great time.

Went and saw Leftfield too.  You could tell it was an older crowd as most people were more considerate for those around them.

Agree with the comments about not playing much from Leftism, that was a bit of a dissapointment. :(

    • Avril gets above GC on rarity (see Cypress Hill this year). She drew in something like 70,000 at Glastonbury, so much so that they had to close the field off. I’d wager that she would get the biggest crowd of the entire weekend if she was to play DL.
    • We've reasonably predicted/wanted a bill of Blink, Avril, Good Charlotte for a while 😅    I'm surprised that Good Charlotte's UK shows in November seem to be doing well atm... obviously if they sell out those venues then they should be subheadliners right? (if they play download that is). They'd only look a strong sub if it was before Blink though I rekn.

    • Well Jason Isbell is on blistering form for this run of European gigs, wonderful night in Bristol
    • I am also interested in this. I was looking for past years, and it looks like it has a limited capacity.  I would love to see Ela Minus, but I guess I won't be able to make it in time, unfortunately.
