Resale

I had to get tickets in the resale last year and didn't bother with the coach resale, you just have to be prepared to live with that decision if you do fail in the GA resale. I got tickets fairly easily in the GA resale by the way.

There will be secret sales later in the year, but with the Australian time difference and costs of flights that might not be a realistic option for you.

Ive read a lot of "fairly easily" comments about the resale...praying it happens the same this year!!

I'm not being held responsible if this year it's a bitch to get tickets!

Haha its not just you!

To be fair, people said it was reasonably easy Rolling Stones year, and that was with a lineup AND the biggest act glastonbury has ever had. Touch wood but im pretty confident as long as no headliner/lineup is announced in the next week

gutted about the maximum being 4 tickets per transaction- there's five of us who need tickets still!

And I'll be gutted if my mates get tickets and i don't :P

One of you could go for a coach ticket and then the rest could bring it their gear down to make it easier/more aceptable option?

Fantastic shout. Cheers!

Think two of us will go for the coach tickets to prevent one of us being alone for however long. We'll be laughing if that works out.

For 2014 we didn't get even close to tickets in the main sale and had all but given up on going. Of course gave the resale (non coach) a go and managed to get them within about 5 minutes with no real hassles.

Good luck to everyone having a go this year

II got nowhere near in either of the resales last year, so I'd say it's just as much luck of the draw as in the October sale.

Nearly got a ticket in one of the unannounced re-re-sales being monitored on here, but made fatal mistake of leaving the office after it seemed that only a few tickets had been available and had been snapped up immediately. Returned to computer half an hour later to find about three pages of happy campers who had all managed to get tickets about five minutes after I left.

So whatever happens over the next few weeks keep believing and persevering.

have always found it pretty easy getting tickets in the resale. you'll be fine brothers and sisters.

might be plucking this out of my arse but i think there can only be a fraction of the amount who go for the main sale that follow up with a resale attempt. obviously there is a fraction of the tickets too but i think even taking proportions into account, the chances are better. so many will think that the festival is now only weeks away and planning and paying for a festival at such short notice is hard for a lot of people.

Does anyone know if it's possible to get single coach ticket or is it all return only apart from London and Bristol?

I'm the only one out of my mates who is ticketless at the moment so would like to travel back with them preferably

you'll have to pay for the return but there's nothing stopping you not turning up for the bus home.

Plus many will have made alternative plans for the summer

What happens if the one gets a coach ticket, and the other 4 fail? Tragic. I do think if peeps get on the booking page, there will be one chance and one chance only. I reckon it will sell out fast

You can still get a refund minus booking fee until a date in may I think... so you could do that or hope for one of the secret sales near to the event. We ended up getting the 4 we needed during the resale last year.... so it can be done

    • Lovely Brexit doc on bbc2 for anyone who wants to relive those golden years.
    • I think some folks are underestimating how many millennials, now into heavier music, were genuinely also into things like techno and happy hardcore in the 90s and early 00s. Scooter may be about is commercialized as it gets when it comes to happy hardcore and techno, but for many, they won't be just a 'silly act' they will be a genuine nostalgia act.
    • Can anyone share please as can’t access the app
    • Someone said something along the lines of "the lows were really low but they highs were really high" and I think that sentence sums up my ps experience this year. Thursday was a downer (even though I got to see men I trust, geese, oklou and fcukers), but the weather, the missed shows and the uncertainty (those comms...) made it a bad day. Friday and Saturday on the other hand where rly good, a bunch of amazing shows each day (The Cure one was quite something), that surprise on Saturday...   Will be back next year, hope they get another impressive lineup as this year (quality and quantity wise) and that tickets and  primarily hotels don't get much more expensive.
    • Rosalia Radiohead NIN MGMT Bjork David Byrne   Also Vince Staples' new album is cool. I could see him returning.
