What I'm looking at is all completely terrifying, but to the untrained eye, it also looks like the first few days are more or less completely dry. Am I being overly optimistic here?

Their predictions only go out to five days. Not sure where the data comes from after that. Met Office will be the best place from the weekend.

The ensembles don't deny it... definitely in with a chance. fair few plumping for no low too though. It remains defiantly, stubbornly and quite unfairly all to play for.
