Does it never occur to you that the reason everyone moans when you do this is because you're wrong?

No Will, and wrong with what Will? I'm not sure what you're trying to say?, all you have told me is that a band (not stupid reform based) is going to play 4th when they are a certain size and another band who are smaller might play 3rd or a bigger act might play lower?, I'm not sure you even realize what you're argument is lol. It's like you've told me that Panic at the disco are bigger than ATL, The Cribs are bigger than The Maccabees or JEW, FTP and ADTR were bigger than who they played below last year LOL.

I am aware that two of the headliners have already been booked.

I am also aware that a few other bands have already been booked, although of course it is too early to say where abouts on the line-up they will be playing.

I will say though, that neither of Florence And The Machine and Foals, despite being predicted frequently on this forum, will headline Reading and Leeds next year.

BMTH are bigger, I'd say. They're more popular amongst normies.

Not sure, bmth are definitely more popular worldwide but in the uk they seem pretty equal. Also if anything I'd imagine bmth are probably harder to get into than enter shikari.

What on earth?!

All I said was that it's possible for bands of not-exactly-equal size to play corresponding slots and given examples of that.

I've read this post like 5 times and still have no idea what it says.

Who have you heard that is supposedly headling?

One of the headliners is English. The other is not.

All I have heard about the third headliner is that they're trying to line an unnamed act up who is supposed to be VERY big but nothing has been set in stone. They will not tell me who it is.

    • RIP Roy Hattersley
    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
