Yeah there's quite a lot I'd disagree with on that prediction.

I thought Twenty One Pilots were playing this year until just now. They're supporting ATL at Belsonic a few days before and are just the kind of shit that goes down well at R+L so it's strange that they're not playing.

Also i think Brand New would headline the NME now, they could sub it but I reckon they'd probably want the headline slot on that, either that or they'd take 3rd/4th down main

Have they ever headlined a 2nd/3rd etc stage at a festival? Every time I've seen them on the lineup for a festival they're always midcard on one of the stages (unless it's a tiny festival and they're headlining the mainstage). Stupid question but it's bugging me

Wtf is that biffy clyro thing

They have Special Guests doing the tents at Reading. Me wishful thinking Biffy could do Leeds and Reading as a special guest.

And yes, Incubus below EODM- I was hungover and typing. Meant them other way round.

Brand New are no way big enough to headline Radio1/NME as much as I'm a fan.

P.S. Bastille suck balls. Wouldn't want to see them high up Main. They are offensive to all 5(or 6 dependent on view point) senses.

    • RIP Roy Hattersley
    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
