We have been for the last 2 years, it was awesome both years, but we are changing this year and going to ArcTanGent cos the lineup is a bit heavier (more to our tastes). Its a great festie.

Not a great deal of love in this thread for Kerbdog? have loved them for years and finally got to see them in december in manchester. Don't miss 'em. Check out their "on the turn" album - not a bad track on it.

Cheers for that mate, thought it would be that way anyway but I'm planning on being there early on Tuesday so hopefuthat I'll get it off then :)

I'd say it's fairly likely. I got there Wednesday evening when I worked it and There was still a full range - although one had nearly gone.

Enjoy.

She's just supported Lonely the Brave, maybe why you'be heard of her?

Maybe so

I thought this only really did UK acts, being a UK underground festival .etc?

That's the main focus yes but there are always one or two acts that aren't. DZ Deathrays played last year for example Edited by justanothername

Oh that's a relief, was worried it was another Defeater I hadn't heard of. In Which case i'll be getting a ticket ASAP. I wasn't overly fussed because ive seen the bands i want to see before plenty of times, but I've never seen Defeater so that seals the deal for me. Had tickets for them twice but had to miss them for various reasons, and they pulled out of Download. Finally.
I'm so happy.

Yeah I think it is the Defeater you're thinking off :P

I actually need to get into them though as they're a band that I think I'd like but I have heard mixed things about the new album but the debut is apparently really good though

Three records. Latest two are both great first one I'm not too keen on.

    • Given the assumptions and little bits around Madonna, that BST and Paris post is probably right (few weeks later than the original post).   Just adds to the speculation that - they thought they had Madonna, and now they don't.   I can see what's gonna happen here - they end up booking Oasis and Fontaines for 2028. I don't get a ticket, and have to get out of the country + delete all socials.   That would end me if it happened and I wasn't there.
    • Looking at other Superstruct festivals this year, The Prodigy haven’t played Tramlines yet, and it’s been a while since Two Door Cinema Club have.   Those two seem likely headliners on how they tend to rotate bands.   Fontaines DC would be incredible but possibly a little too big now, Geese are having a good rise, would be great as a newer band to headline
    • Automated sessions and BOTs dont sleep.
    • I’ve secured tickets once since 2007. I’ve done 11 festivals in that time.  Thankfully I have friends with better luck!
