I don't understand why they are moving it all out the campsites. A few years ago you had arcadia right at the far end in white campsite. And there's getting less and less stages in the campsite which is balls. The magic meadow is looking good to be fair, it was very good last year. Part of me likes having a lot of stuff with less distance to cover, but I liked to be really near a stage when in my tent

I haven't been on Thurs before. When's good to get in? I HAVE to see Underworld, so I guess I'll be aiming for the churn straight after the act before Jamie XX (there seems to be room for one more there - presumably a DJ set - looks like a possible RDB secret slot if he's not announcing it).

There's usually comperes & filler DJs on from Friday between acts on the Big Top, not sure about Thursday.

I'd be mingle outside the tent/bar area during Jamie XX to get a decent spot for Underworld. I can see that being like Basement Jaxx last year.

is Underworld still doing their Dubnobasswithmyheadman tour? saw it at Primavera so not in a huge rush to see it again (although i'm sure it'll be much better in a tent off my tits rather than in the open mildly drunk). Jamie xx though is a must for me, so i guess i'll be hanging around outside during Gorgon City, who i could take or leave

edit: never mind, looks like they are doing it at Bestival... i'll probably still go see em

Sad to see nothing has replaced the Reggae stage, it was such a nice place to chill with a few cans at the end of a day. Cynic in me thinks they just want me paying for booze if I'm going to watch some acts.

Carnivale has replaced it. There's some sort of music/cabaret/carnival acts there. Not sure what to expect really.

Might try slaves again if they are in a tent or a small venue.

Last time I saw fat white family they werent very good, but that might have been because I wasn't sure where I was after playing a game of "who's head is the hardest".

Future islands were so good at glasto, really want to see them again.

Chemical Brothers, Drenge, boy better know, special guests, skrillex,

Otherwise I'll just float around and chill.

Didn't enjoy skrillex at glasto last year, but the port is my favourite festival stage I have ever been to, so in that environment it's gonna be amazing.

The Sunday night is the best night to push yourself to the extreme (and sleep through the queues on Monday morning)

    • Christ didn't even see that!
    • It does feel very bland. It would certainly spell another year (my third, I think) away from Pyramid headliners for me. That doesn't mean they aren't worthy, though. I don't follow what any of them are up to, as it isn't my thing. Good luck to them.   You would think coming off a fallow year, they would want one big hitter. 'Big hitter' is obviously open to debate, but that was/is Madonna. Let's have it right. The eggs have gone in that basket, and it seems (as far the rumours go) that it's blown up. So now you're left with another plan B/replacement headliner.   I'm still of the opinion that Oasis will do it, before the Oasis thing is all said and done. Probably 2028, if they can come to an agreement. It may transpire that 2027 is bland (or at least to some of us), and 2028 is a bit... wild.   Again, though, none of us categorically know ANY of the headliners, as it stands.
