Choosing a Coach time?

Mine leaves 07:30 from bristol on the wednesday (it says wednesday departures on the booking page but not on the confirmation email which worries me a bit but should be alright), how long do people reckon it'll take to get from bris to the festival at that time in the morning, traffic allowing.

Didn't others chose the day on the initial screen which offered Wednesday or Thursday, then on the second screen chose the time?

That's what I did then chose Bristol and a selection of times came up.

Only Bristol/London had that option apparently (suppose they know that high numbers would go from there already)

Cheers for that! 9 would be ideal but I'm not too fussed was just hoping there was no late afternoon departures! As long as I'm set up for sun set on the Wednesday I'll be happy!

First time I've got tickets in the early sales, usually have to wait for resale can relax and enjoy the build up now, Hopefully help friends get tickets on Sunday too

Ours from Bristol same, chose time and date, email only quotes the time.

Sure they have it on file, but the person who composed the email template will have a mouth of humble pie.

Ah that's exactly the same as me. Checking the booking page it does say Wed and it's just the email that doesn't give a day just the time. Grand thanks for putting my mind at rest about what day I'd boked

For anyone wanting to double check their booking you can go onto see tickets customer service section and using your booking reference it confirms the day of travel too.

For those going from Bristol there are saver rooms at the Travelodge near the bus pick up point going for £35-40 at moment

    • Its just going to be another dementia tax isn't it? The issue is this is going to be seen as a continuation of the labour government that have already raised taxes 1000% above manifesto promises.
    • One thing that Burnham has been talking about is scrapping inheritance tax and replace it with a social care levy ... which would be less progressive, but might be a good idea if was a solution for the social care crisis. Would need to sell it well to a public who would prefer not to pay more tax.
    • Maybe you should put your name forward to be Burnham's chancellor.
    • But I think the point of that Dan Needle tax thing...we need to put up income tax, for all incomes (and thresholds should be unfrozen).
    • There are no easy answers...more than anything we need growth...and probably main ways of getting that is borrowing more to invest in stuff that makes us super sexy, and/or cut taxes on business and wealth generation which would mean less money to spend on public services and welfare and would obviously be super unpopular and get you chucked out of govt. On top of all that got an aging population, a growing welfare bill, a call for higher spending on defence, housing inequality, higher borrowing costs, and probably a load more sh*t on the way due to the Iran war (although so far it hasn't been that bad?)
