F the second fucking year in a row I got to the payment page only to be greeted by the sold out screen when I proceeded. Even ticketmaster holds the tickets for a few minutes until you have chance to I put your details. Not happy at all after missing last year.

got mine, but what is shit is that we were repeatedly entering people who were registered, and it wouldn't let us continue with the ones that weren't. had 2 people through at 20 past but because of this a couple of our group have missed out

25 minutes is nuts. Its starting to feel a lot like a raffle.

Managed to get my tickets on Wednesday, so I shouldn't complain - but couldn't get through at all this morning for two groups of mates (and neither could they), so a bit sad at that. But what can you do...

Not if the driver crashes due to no adequate rest break.

Then employ a driver that hasn't been working since the very very early hours? This was a bus that left London at 6am. I'd hate to think what his previous journey. Not to mention that if you advertise a journey as taking 3hrs 30, adding an extra hour to that purely because you can't manage staff properly is a bit poor.

Turns out more of my friends got tickets than I thought this morning, which has made me a little less sad about those that have to rely on the resale or working in some capacity (again!) - but still it is sad - and I'm still not entirely sure what I'm supposed to be doing with the rest of my Sunday morning.

Tis the standard of journalism.

"Viagogo, the world's largest ticket marketplace, reported that the limited resale has put many fans off, with 50 per cent of 18-24-year-olds not prepared to take the risk on this year's festival."

Firstly, fuck you Viagogo. Secondly, 'tickets sold out in record time. Fans were put off so didn't take the risk', eh? Can someone work that one out?

Bloody hell. I thought you were one of the cursed. :-)

How about you chief?

Yep :) We had all sorts of luck this morning. Crazy stuff. 30 tickets in all in the bag. Last group sorted at 9.25! Squeezed in..............

Fair play to ya this year, as I say what ya went through last year sucked a lot for a long time....

Great work! I'll see you for a beer in June so!

Such tosh

"There has been some controversy over restrictions on ticket resales, meaning that if fans aren't enamoured by the headliner or can't make the event, even giving their ticket away is not an option."

But returning your ticket for an almost complete refund is an option not worth mentioning eh?

This a hundred times. If some are already booked it should let you continue with the people who aren't, but it makes you go back and remove those people manually which is how I missed out.

Some of these articles today have seemed very angled to imply glasto tickets should be freely trade-able on site such as.... say Viagogo

*spits*

it's bollocks. fed into the system by their press officers to try and swell public enthusiasm for the idea and pressurise glasto/etc.
