Look I'm stoked to see Modern Baseball, Menzingers, The Bronx (Jesus Christ, 2011 left me dry heaving fro about an hour waiting for MCR), ASIWYFA, Turbowolf and Cancer Bats but apart from that I have no bloody idea who half of the guys are.

Maybe I'm old and out of touch because I don't have the faintest Idea on half of the bands here.

I was wondering if anyone have any track suggestions to listen to for some of the other lock-up bands to get a feel and whether I want to see them or not?

Refused and Modern Life is War are fantastic.

I would definitely check out Baroness, Gojira and Mastodon on the Saturday.

Would also recommend Beartooth, Hawk eyes and Frank Carter.

How many people do you guys think this stage will hold?

On the Saturday (Reading) there are a lot of big acts playing in the rock/metal

scene, I've never been to Reading/Leeds before so have no idea.

Cheers :)

If youre there, there might be a thick group of people around the outside of the tent, but if you push past into the tent theres usually a bit more space. I'd say you should still be able to get in for most bands on the lineup,

Anyone have any thoughts on next year's LU/Pit headliners?

Sum 41, Fightstar, Skindred, Asking Alexandria and Killswitch Engage are some of the names floating round my head ATM.

    • Definitely see this as being 'weak' on paper but could see a few bumps up from previous sets at Download (Don Broco, Neck Deep etc).
    • Very different in terms of time of game,  yet remember how excited I was before the first game in Euro 2016 having grown up not sure I would ever see wales in an international tournament. That day scraped a win against Slovakia and was just happy to see wales score and win at a tournament, little did I know we would finish in the top 4. Hope Scottish fans get the same experience.

    • I don't think I'm alone as a Scotland fan that there is no way that I could possibly fall asleep knowing we're about to play our first World Cup game in 28 years! Pure adrenaline is keeping me wide awake (and plenty of rum)!
