Marilyn Manson, Faith no More and Slash & Myles Kennedy announced for Graspop....at least we can now rule them out for RW....

And now we also know not to trust Festileaks 'inside information'...

In other news: Counting Crows playing a Dutch festival the same weekend as RW, the same fest that also has Lenny Kravitz headlining. Looks really likely now that they'll drop by.

If RW booked the Libertines, where would they play? They are supposedly headlining the Pyramid or Other stage at Glastonbury.

They failed to sell out a Brussels 4500 people venue with tickets at 35 euros, so they can't really ask for interesting spots. Late afternoon Main Stage, evening Barn or topping KluB C, but I'd say headlining Dour or Les Ardentes sounds more right.

Gutted about Marilyn Manson at Rock Werchter but there you go. Kinda expected it in the back of my mine, makes Kasabian increasingly more likely with their dates around and also All Time Low, EODM & The Gaslight Anthem so still some nice rock names.

My guess is The Prodigy will play after PW and Coldplay will headline Saturday....hoping for System of a Down though...

The Prodigy and Pharrell look odd to me. Both more of a 'fun' act (although I dont find Pharrell as fun) than a headline act.

Coldplay is a matter of taste but at least its an obvious headliner.

Pharrell is a headliner, RW said so when they announced him. But he's a very weak headliner so a strong dance-act could be the answer....or a strong sub, QOTSA/Jack White?

But RW is known for their odd decisions, in 2011 Iron Maiden and Black Eyed Peas co-headlined :P

    • There is possibly a weak link in the ticket buying system, no matter how clever the technical controls get. I just spent 20 minutes this morning hammering the ‘Buy Tickets’ button while the web page kept telling me there weren’t enough tickets remaining to meet my request. Eventually it changed its mind and let me buy two tickets. Most likely because of failed payments in the queue ahead of me. So - just like it did in the good old F5 days - pig-headed blind persistence can sometimes pay off.   BTW, the tickets were for the Whispering Bob Harris evening in the Albert Hall on 2nd December.
    • All I'm asking for is Rancid
    • MGK would probably end my interest in this festival completely.
    • The basement, deafheaven, Mannequin pussy clash is v annoying. Also not sure why pinkpantheress is in the tent, surely going to be ramos.
    • It's just this:   Search up which orgs are currently in Tufton St, funded by Koch Brothers, Robert Mercer, and Matthew Elliot.   It's moved on from "Vote Leave" and "Leave Means Leave" into the lobbyists against net zero. It's the same funding from the same people in the same place lobbying our media and politicians.
