My daughter is 17 and doesn't drink.

I told her last night that if I don't see her on one of those CCTV style documentaries about inner city teens getting w*nkered and pissing in gutters with a broken high heel and sick in her hair by the time she's 18 i'll be sorely fucking disappointed.

Kids today, pfff.

My stepson is 21. He's never gone out and got drunk, he only ever drunk at all when he turned 18. He just hasn't ever had that sort of social life and I do worry he's missing out. I have some very happy memories of my teenage years down the local pub.

I love Eels.

Have seen them a few times.

Took Child 3 last time (he was 13) to the Wonderful Glorious tour. He bloody loves them, because I have indoctrinated him with brilliant musical taste.

I love many of the records very much, but have a particular relationship with Blinking Lights...
