After a long time of reading this forum I set up an account today purely so I can thank whoever started this Stone Roses hype. I've spent the afternoon enjoying their albums (even Second Coming) whilst the sun has been shining in through the window and I've been remembering Heaton Park and you know what, it's been great, so cheers.

That said, this won't happen, even if my optimism made me chuck £10 at 12/1 earlier today.

I'm standing by my original post but my Saturday night headliner was wrong so hands up for that.

Sunday night going for Flo or Fleetwood Mac, I was told it was Blur Sat night, still might be a good shout for the other stage perhaps?

Was told the other week that the Stone Roses are not doing anything at the minute as they are still under contract from the last lot of tours.

Can say this bit is not true and the contract ended last year. They were tied up for 12 months from their date in Glasgow. That bit of info came from Mani's brother.

Has anyone got a link to the Betfair Glastonbury headliner market? All I can find is the Paddy Power one and some stupid Glastonbury related stuff on Betfair

Same here!

The only place I'd see odds that good at this time of the day is if I was faking my own screenshot using Photoshop.

Stone Roses still not even listed as a rumour... either there's a technical problem or Neil/Scottie think there's even less in this than the Katy Perry thing...

I'm certainly not going to go out of my way to add them because i've seen nothing to justify it.

Whether or not Scott will take a different view i've no idea (he's free to make up his own mind), but if it appears that'll be why.

Just caught up with all of this madness. If that £100 bet is genuine then fair play, but it seems other people have questioned him being able to put that bet on at 4pm today on that site. Roses and Blur are what I'm pinning my hopes on for that Sunday now. Either one of them would be perfect for me, I'd probably pick Roses over them if I had to because I love them a little bit more and it seems like they should be up there since they've never done it before.

    • Judging by last night at Wembley, Luke Combs should be in the conversation of headliner. The UK is having a moment with country music so I don't think it would be particularly left field either.

    • It feels really busy this year, loads of big groups of youngsters too. Slightly different vibe to previous years I've been. As with Tramlines, they're very chatty during sets and there's a constant stream of them in and out of the crowd... definitely feeling my age 😂   The Quarry stage I think is a lot smaller than previous years - seems similar size to Squid/Leadmill. Some sets have been difficult to get in.   I think I've reached my limit with mid-tier indie guitar bands. There's been quite a few this weekend where I've gone over to see them then walked away after 20 mins. Surprisingly, enjoyed the Fratellis set the most in this genre. Probably getting on for 20 years since I last saw them. Wasn't expecting them to do Yes Sir, I Can Boogie, which was fab!   Hugely enjoyed the Happy Mondays yesterday, and same but different with Radio Free Alice who I saw again on Friday, following Tramlines last weekend. A big run of pop acts today - Scissor Sisters will be fantastic!
    • I have a spare campervan pass to get rid of.  unable to use Kaboodle as it is only entry that they re-sell
