Best full line up in years?

Loving this years line up, better than last year for sure

I think it could be a lot better but that's just to my tastes.

For me the only must sees are Jack White and London Grammar, then there's a few that'll be nice to see. That said, I've gone to 100+ gigs in the past year so have seen the likes of Drenge and bands like that 10 times +. I think if someone like The National or Gaslight Anthem were there I'd have no problems, might just be the lack of one of my favorites.

Maybe a blessing in disguise so I can explore some new things though!

The Saturday evening is the stuff of dreams me for ,manics into pixies then run over to see mogwai all three bands. Are huge for me.sunday is looking bare like most festivals on Sunday I feel like death warmed up so il wander around aimlessly

There are a lot of big names at the top and a lot of different acts but the whole lineup doesnt hold much weight for me.

Once you get past the big stages there is a whole lot of "meh"

It's definitely the strongest year I've been (this is my 11th) but that might just be down to my tastes. Metallica and Arcade Fire are absolute stand out headliners for me and do provide the "wow" factor but I'm a huge fan of both so they're a far bigger deal than the likes of Prince, who I have very little time for.

I've gone through the lineup and over the 5 main stages (Pyramid, Other, Park, West Holts and JP) and there's a total of 50 acts that I'd more than happily pay to see on an average night in Manchester - it's going to be hell making the decision which ones I'm actually going to see. People make a big deal about the Glastonbury being about "so much more than the lineup" and I do agree that it's a special place even when you're not watching bands, but listening to and watching live music is my number one hobby so I'm absolutely thrilled that there's pretty much 12 hours of non stop greatness for three days. If it's the LIbertines as the Friday special guest then that will just top it off.

I think the line up is quite incredible, such an awesome diverse mix, this is what Glastonbury is all about. The last thing we need is dreary Coldplay or Radiohead.

Average, its ok like..couple of must see's but alot of can take or leave it acts for me during the day and theres not really a smattering of acts that grab me on the smaller stages like I usually have.

Plus as others have said just some bizare clashes/placings on the lineup.

Still likely the best lineup of the big festivals this year as usual mind! The are mostly a shower of shit. (Apart from Bestival.)

I think it's a terrific line up. Plenty of acts I can't wait to see and plenty of gaps between them to explore. The best thing is that the acts I want to see are spread over many stages, so the only time I'll be at one stage for more than one act is on Saturday night for Jack White and Metallica (and possibly some dance stuff). Beyond that, all my chosen acts are hit and run situations, which is great.

if there isnt anything on music wise I would have a wander up to theatre and circus, the ground shows are so hillarious! thats what we did last sunday afternoon, you can't fail to have a good time!

I wish a lot of the sub headliners were headliners but other than that I think it's very strong. I wish I could acquire Hermione's time turner to help me with my clashes like she did with her classes.

After going last year I can definitely say that the diversity this year has really made it stand out. Perhaps it's because I'm much more likely to go and explore the smaller bands knocking about and not hanging around the main stages anymore. Royal Blood, Fat White Family and Wolf Alice seem like a good little run of bands on Saturday. All in all I can definitely say that there are a bunch of 'wow' moments - Pixies, Jack White, Robert Plant, Arcade Fire, Massive Attack. Where else can you see Metallica one day and Dolly Parton the next?
