Large, very securer 24 hour tents which you can put anything in for safe keeping that run on donations.

I put my trolley in once ive finished with it Wednesday and pick it up Monday AM. Ive also used it for rucksack sized bags and seen people put in small items.

anything from a sack truck to your car keys (do this, our designated driver lost the car keys one year and spent a secretive, hungover sunday trying to get spares without telling the rest of us. it cost about £200 in the end cos it was a fancy key) in return for a charitable contribution. can't recommend them enough really. the people running them are always helpful and cheery too. i've never heard any tales of anything going missing ever.

So they don't have lockers you can go to yourself? Do you just hand over your stuff and they stash it in a marquee and give you a number, or something?

We were hoping to use one to stash stuff for easy access during the day and save having to walk back outside to the camping, but if you have to get someone to fetch you your stuff every time then it looks like a non-starter.

They are brilliant, always amazes me that some people don't use them. First thing I do once set up is put my cash, keys, banks cards etc into the lock ups then just use it like an atm and go back to get cash as required. They also hand out free loo roll which is handy.

I'm still on T in the Parks mailing list and got a message from them this weekend saying they have lockers which cost £16! The Glasto ones are even better when you consider that they operate just for charitable donations.

I keep my booze in there & it stays colder than it would in my tent. Usually pick up money in the morning & pick up more money & enough booze for the evening the afternoon.

So thats twice a day, they've never complained & are up for a chat too if your not in a rush.

Yeah I don't see at all how it is a non starter. They're there to be used however you need them.

Last year I put my money, iPhone, bank cards, house keys in on the Wednesday and went daily to get more cash. I thought they were brilliant.

Have just seen you're worried about the time factor, but given you have to walk to the lock up in the first place I can't understand why even five minutes wait would be a problem. The thing is, the site is so big that leaving your stuff anywhere, be it your tent, a lock up or a locker, you're probably going to have a decent walk to retrieve it.

I haven't used them before so can't say how long it takes to queue up, wait for your stuff to be retrieved, go somewhere to sort out what you want to take out/leave behind, then queue to get it re-stored, but it sounds more like 5 minutes than 1 to me.

They're great - quick, efficient, friendly, cheap and most importantly secure - I'm not gonna leave all my money, tickets, nice phone/ipod, valuables in general in the tent. Nor am I going to keep them on me the entire time. I can't see why you wouldn't use them.

    • It was awful during Father John Misty and I was close to the front. People just shouting and laughing their f-ing heads off about nothing in particular and being louder than the bloody stage.
    • Other things I noted yesterday, away from the obvious…   Positives: - an extra water point towards the back left of the main stages has appeared, which I believe is new for this year (and was much needed) - handing out free ponchos was a good touch  - caroline were fantastic. I’d never been in the Auditori Rockdelux before, it’s a wonderful venue and a great venue if you fancy a more chilled out environment  Negatives: - the talkers. I know it’s always bad here (and most festivals nowadays) but f**k me people wouldn’t shut up yesterday. I wonder if it was partly as a result of people being at artists they had little interest in (due to rain limiting their options), although it wasn’t great during blood orange. We’ll be making an effort to get a spot nearer the front for anyone we particularly care about over the weekend  - not enough staff around (and the ones that are there are largely useless). Most other festivals have them everywhere and are happy to help
