I see Portugal ripped Ireland a new bum hole last night. 5-1. Friendly it may be, but that will put a pep in their step before that juicy opener against ze Germans.

Probably one of the stronger 2nd tiered teams in the tournament and Id imagine the conditions will not affect them nearly as much as the northern European teams.

Worked for Liverpool, oh!!

lol - true.

Tho that's a player who falls over AND has an end result, rather than a player who only ever falls overs over.

People used to (some still do) go on about Walcott "doesn't have a footballers brain", and yet the same thing never ever gets said at the much-worse-for-lack-of-thought Wilshire.

Bring it on.............I really hope this World Cup is chock full of crazy happenings and surprises! Resulting in the likes of a Belgium V Holland final that no one saw coming!

I also hope the peno shoot out does not raise its head too often

watched the Brazil vs Spain Confederations Cup game yesterday, (as a warm up) - Brazil were technically brilliant, stunning to watch, and tactically clever, and have decided that my money is on Brazil winning this year. If they play half as good as that they'll beat Argentina to lift the trophy.

Hulk smash!
