I remember at the beginning of the tournament hearing fan/pundits predictions and most were predicting the European sides would be moving en masse to the second round. Most have been a bit disappointing and of the 13 that started probably only 4-6 will remain.

To be honest I don't think there is a huge difference in class between that side and the one that played the first two games.

Greece's sytem of successfully qualifying by playing one decent game is brilliant. Don't rate their chances vs Costa Rica but it's still good drama.

I fancy Greece to beat Costa Rica. The Costa Rican have had a great tournament, but I think their lack of quality will count against them.

Interesting how the draw has grouped together all the South American teams, the winner of Brazil/Chile will play the winner of Colombia/Uruguay in the quarter-final, and Argentina/Ecuador in the second round is a realistic shout. For all the noise being made about the emergence of South America it still looks like Brazil and Argentina will be their representatives in the semi-finals, along with Holland and Germany/France.
