I think Rudimental, Foster the People and Vintage Trouble are all going to clash and I'd really like to see all 3 of them. Mind you I'd also really like to see Chvrches and Crystal Fighters in the John Peel tent so might be sensible just staying for Wild Beasts and missing all 3.

Every days got a few bands I want to see but Friday there is just so many things I want to see that clash whilst the other days don't seem so bad. Pixies v Jack White would be a horrible decision except Pixies are also playing the Friday of T in the Park which I'm going to so picking Jack's an easy decision.

Disappointed that Dans Le Sac v Scroobius pip look like they'll also clash with Jack White or Metallica though. Also think Parov Stellar Band would have been interesting, but Black Keys win hands down over them for me.

Added ones for me:

Temples/Band of Skulls/Summer Camp

Haim/Rudimental

Will miss a bit of the young knives it looks like after Wild Beasts

Chvches/2 Bears

Warpaint/Kelis/Charli XCX

Chromeo added to the Jack White/Pixies mega clash!

The Wailers/End of The Horrows/Bombay Bicycle Club

At 10:20 Friday night 2013 there were precisely NINE acts on I wanted to see, I'd be surprised if I ever beat that.

Saying that, even with the limited stages on the clashfinder at the moment, the final 4 acts of Friday night area currently has 19 highlights, so I'm likely to be constantly screwed.

In fact, there is not 1 act I want to see all weekend that DOESN'T clash at least partially. I'm at the point where I don't even worry about them anymore.

I'm just getting to grips with the line-up and the full extent of those Saturday clashes is just hitting me :( First world problems, I know, but this year it does certainly seem that they're all grouped in the one day...

Jack White/Pixies/John Grant

Manics/Robert Plant/Anna Calvi

No idea what I'll do about those really. Logic suggests hanging around at Pyramid from Plant onwards but I do love Anna, Manics and John Grant.

I'd also quite like to see Mogwai and Bryan Ferry.

    • As someone that always likes looking at this stuff, compare the BBC opening titles...     ... and the ITV ones.     Tbf the BBC intro is better than the ones they used for the last World Cup, which I thought were pretty bad and on its own, the BBC choice actually isn't too bad. It's not as good as their pinball one for the last Euros, but the concept is reasonable. But let's be real, the ITV one is better.

    • Another new one from Overmono.   Album is shaping up nicely.
    • I'm only judging by highlights but considering that I saw a lot of anxieties from US fans about them getting it wrong after several bad results in the last year or so, they very much had it on opening night. Might be as much about Paraguay being a long way from the team that beat Brazil and Argentina in qualifying though.   Canada also doing something in a World Cup other than lose and arguably be good enough to have beaten Bosnia means reasonable start. Think they might regret not winning though.
