I'm all for Coldplay occasionally - awesome in both 04 and 11 - but too soon... It'd be rather disappointing

The switch to Yellow in 04 is still one of the biggest crowd roars I remember. Might not be popular with the hardcore eclecticists but there's always a lot who disagree

I hope not. That will mean they will have headlined 4 times in 11 Festivals. I'd much rather have The Cure become the first band to have 4 headline slots.

Saying that, I don't really mind Coldplay but I don't think they should play Glasto any time soon.

compared to other gigs and festivals, no-one, as far as I know gets paid a vast sum of money for Glastonbury

I don't think he was comparing it to other gigs and festivals, just vast compared to what most of us earn (obviously not including yourself, I doubt you'd get out of your opulent, gold-plated four-poster bed for the headliner fee at Glasto).
