cambo
I think it's fine! Given that they supply firewood for camp fires, I think the fest will be OK with BBQs! Trying to find out if it is ok to bring disposable bbq's! Anybody know?

johnmcga
Aside from buying my ticket, I haven't done anything to prepare yet. I haven't checked my tent, haven't bought any booze, haven't given any thought to what clothes I'm going to take, don't know if my wellies are still in ok condition, haven't booked my train ticket... Surely I can't be the only one with this laissez-faire approach?

Dog Burger
Today I began to feel relatively normal again after returning from five days at a festival in Denmark. Slightly sun-stroked, slightly sleep and food deprived, and enormously devoid of regular sleep, but otherwise good and ready to go again! septemberwillow
I booked today off on a whim to get some Glasto stuff done. Just got the sleeping bags out the airing cupboard to air on the washing line. Just got rucksacks and wellies (!!!) out the garage to check them all over. Ordered spare camera batteries. kalifire
Oops, wrong thread. Umm... today the alcohol gets delivered from Asda and the first proper bag-pack/weight check can begin. Edited June 19, 2014 by kalifire
ink1ing
Bought a £20 bike off an old fella yesterday for getting around site. Turned out to be a bit of a bargain. Edited June 19, 2014 by ink1ing
The_Amazing_Oblong
I had up to now done absolutely nothing. We are working so until we had all the stuff through it just hasn't felt like it's really happening. Last night a few of us working met up at a local pub to discuss travel plans and such. This morning my routing pass and letter to exchange for wristbands and stuff arrived so now it suddenly seems very real indeed. Will start packing the weekend. Yip! sheffieldlady
Going to Morrison this evening to make use of a discount card my friend has for the alcohol run. Then, I have the weekend free for any last minute shopping required. Feeling stupidly prepared this year with very little preparation. Bet I have missed something important. keeno
Just finished packing my suitcase. I leave Australia in 10 hours. First stop, Hong Kong! See you soon England.
Abster
Withdrew my glasto spends from the cash machine and handed to mum so I don't spend anymore! There appears to be a hole in the bottom of my account!
captain reido
Got my hair cut, had a shave, put my tent up which was covered in the dust of 2010 and I'm about to start getting my clothes together that I plan on taking.

Helephantelope
I'm in limbo - already done everything that can be done in advance but too early to start the actual packing and freezing drinks etc... very strange feeling having nothing glasto-related to do for the next few days. Probably for the best as I have a job interview tomorrow and actually have time to prepare for it now!
dibbul
Tried to persuade my friends to go earlier. I hate queuing with a vengeance and standing queuing is better than traffic plus standing queuing!
