Saturday has now changed from light rain to thundery shower on BBC.

However, Thursday has improved as there looks to be less rain than BBC reported this morning. So perhaps the rain is moving south quicker than we all thought...

Seems very high pressure here in the south west. Humid and overcast, dark clouds. Thunderstorm weather. Wonder if that's reflected in the appearance of thundery showers in the forecasts - high pressure beginning to win out? No next to jack shit about meteorology, though!

Thundery showers are hard to predict, I think- they warned of them in 2010 but they did not come to pass. Same with the Sunday in 2003.
