Would love to see the Pixies headline but would they be affordable?

Pixies would be excellent and probably within the budget but can't see it happening this yr, but hey who knows because at the start of February I don't think anyone would have plugged for the 2 headliners we've got !

Like a lot of people I'm not sure about Frank headlining maybe for a singalong in the afternoon yeah but not a headliner but the Kendal gods seem to love him, can't wait for Suede was into them in the 90's and the new stuff is good, wouldn't mind seeing the hives on the card as they always get a crowd going.

The Enemy announced a tour playing small venues, tickets go on sale Friday, think they will be added after that sells out.

Maybe it's just my age, but would folk really sacrifice seeing a band at their own gig over seeing them at a festival? Surely you would just go to both?

If the enemy are only playing small venues then surely they must have the confidence that they'd sell out even if they were announced for festivals. If they can't sell out small intimate gigs then maybes it's time to look for jobs elsewhere

Just noticed it says this at the end of their announcement!!!

More news will follow as we plot out the gaps in 2014/15. There will be festival appearances obviously, some small (because we loved last years proper assault on smaller festies) and as we get into the swing of things undoubtedly the bigger ones too! 'The Enemy' are nowhere near big (or good) enough to headline. 3rd on the bill at best surely.

The enemy never did it for me, definitely not a headliner either Possibly a Calling Out Headliner though, Boon said the last headliner are huge, but what bands are huge for kendal?

See idlewild are announcing some acoustic sets and festivals, would be good to have them back at Kendal.

could do with this being announced now - I am pretty disheartened by this line up to be perfectly honest. I have decided not to go to Glastonbury this year to try a smaller festival and now I lumbered with Frank turd-er and a band that don't really deserve to headline in my opinion.

The only thing that could save this for me now is Pulp Which is highly unlikely.

If Bastille or 1975 get announced as a headliner next I might actually cry.

Don't worry the 19 nickety five played last year so can't see them being there next year,Tim Healey should hang his head in shame. It's bound to be a big dance act for the last headliner.

If....it`s to be Manics and Wickerman have them as well then any contract issues " could " be resolved tomorrow with the Wickerman announcement.

Jimmy Cliff into Chic would do for the Sunday if the Manics aint playing or would be happy with Franz.

I'm veering towards Elbow now. Would have thought they were too big but reckon they've saved a few quid on having FT headline. Reason for the delay in announcing them might be they're waiting for their tour to start so anybody who is tempted to get a ticket might not bother if they're headlining Kendal. Would imagine that might be a pretty small group though ie me.

Can't imagine they haven't got the last headliner signed up yet so has to be something contractually stopping them from making the announcement surely?
