bottonrob
Chuffed with Suede, De la sol and the Mondays, wife v happy with Razorlight. Think Newton Faulker, Tom Odell and Miles Kane could be well worth catching.I don't know who Frank Turner is.
sinc72
Yeah really impressed so far and still another headliner to go. Seems a good mix of old indie types ( Suede, Mondays, Athlete) and up and coming like Catfish and Bottlemen
Flaminglippy
Yeah...quality! And another headliner to come!
Rickster1978
So what's the guesses for the remaining headliner then?? New Order would finish that list off nicely.
Emandjay
I don't know who Frank Turner is.
ramragon
I'm fairly happy with that, won't get to see loads but can happily pick a few to see. Suede, Miles, Athlete, Findlay sure I'll find some more to take in !

Rickster1978
Frank Turner opened the Olympics, that's not a bad size gig to get. I've seen him before and I was very impressed. Definitely looking forward to seeing him again.
Marc Whiffen
Only act I am with Catfish and the bottleneck, me son is buzzing for Miles Kane though. I have seen him loads and always said it was to mental for him, so he is dead happy. Frank Turner, I saw him at V Fest about 3pm while eating noodles, retro not an headline act, hope they have blown the budget on the 3rd headliner. Comfy Bean
Saw Frank Turner at T last year ( about 4pmish ) and really enjoyed it. Am surprised he is headliner though. Craig Charles is back which has to be good. There is enough in there to keep me happy but hopefully the " biggie " is still to be announced. I thought I had 2manydjs as my one and only hit in the predictions thread but I now see I took them out. Hopefully a good few still to come. atomised
Frank turner seems to be headlining a few of the smaller fests this summer having just finished an arena tour which was pretty successful.
bexj
Delighted with Suede, don't write them off as has-beens, they are superb live. Some other good stuff kicking around in there, and guaranteed some manic dancing to Craig charles and dub pistols.
ramragon
Don't know if craig charles is playing twice but he looks like he's announced for chai wallahs on Thursday night.

Comfy Bean
Would like to clutch at some straws. Hopefully this conversation has taken place : KC " Hi, Sir Jimmy of Cliff " JC " This is he " KC " We are Kendal Calling and we would like you to headline the Friday night of our festival " JC " No problems. The tickets for my UK gigs go on sale on Friday 6th March so mums the word until a couple of days afters " KC " OK we have a deal sir. many rivers will be crossed to keep it secret " JC " see you in the fields "
Mr_Grump
My first guess is that he was that fella from Timperley with the massive papermache head.
LOCHLAND5
No, you're getting mixed up with the Cumbrian locals
Marc Whiffen
Do you think the other was Beady Eye? They have fallen out with their tour manager, so would of pulled out?
ramragon
I don't think that it's necessarily that someone pulled out last minute, they had problems last year when certain bands wanted to publicise their own tours and sell tickets before they get announced at festivals. I know Public Enemy caused them some problems last year so they delayed the announcement and then put the announcement out without them on it. There could very well be someone booked that will be announced in the coming weeks
footix2
Seems to be a regular occurence at smaller festivals that a headliner gets held back, especially Cumbrian festivals.... no idea why.
