Mainly because Neil has suggested that Metallica and MA will both be headlining, but he said in another thread that he doesn't think Pixies will be headlining the other, which I agree does sound strange, but then they could be in a similar position to smashing pumpkins last year.

Too soon for U2 to come back, and I don't think they ever will to be honest.

I've said it before, the weather didn't help in 2011 but the band were fairly average on the night - a bit tentative in terms of actually putting on a show. The rain/stage setup/new crowd probably influenced that.

Perhaps foolishly expected so much as well, after finishing the fest with Stevie Wonder in 2010.
