Whilst all the talk is of Kasabian against Arcade Fire, who is going to headline the Pyramid on the Saturday etc, i really want to see these doing what i though was the sing along album of last year in " Night Visions". Whether it be headlining the John Peel stage ( which i feel will be too small now, aka Bastille last year ) or up high in the order on the Other stage, it will be rammed. I was going to post this on the other bands you want to see thread but conversation seems to have spilled into Cliff again :) !

In all seriousness though i would love to see these on a sunny afternoon or late evening full of beer and having the time of my life singing along. It must happen and i am looking forward to it!

Utterly utterly terrible. A complete disgrace to music. An absolute atrosmacy. But then again I highly doubt I'm their target audience, I understand they're very popular with the kids.

Really awful? really? My ears must be becoming deaf :) I don't think so, perhaps if you are after more substance we can debate that perhaps to some they are not exactly ground breaking but to me a nice sing along in a field to what i thought was a good album. Each to their own i suppose.

no need to get so defensive as if they're 'you're' band. you posted a thread in a forum known for it's opinionated people so be prepared for opinions, whether good or bad

I was unfortunate enough to catch a bit of Imagine Dragons on the TV coverage of some festival or other (I think it may have been IoW) last year. My ears have never been so offended in all their life. Complete and utter shit of the highest order.

Learn from my mistake

AND DONT click on this link Imagine Dragons – Radioactive

It's the most compressed piece of shit ever with some of the worst songwriting I've heard in a long time. Trite bombast where being Epic is confused with clipping audio and LOUD DULL DRUMS and shitty yelly vocals. I would rather listen to Nickelback... as shit as their songs are at least it doesn't cause a headache.

    • If they're regularly losing out on major artists because of production limitations, or if they're just monitoring the kind of stages other festivals and major concerts are able to come up with, Glasto could do with seriously upgrading their ambitions when it comes to the Pyramid stage, at the very least (probably Other also). I think, with the benefit of complete ignorance about anything remotely practical and relevant, they could pretty easily do this around the current permanent structure (though they should probably upgrade this also at some point), and obviously while retaining their shape-based idiosyncrasy.
    • Exactly! And was even married to a Brit for all of the 00s.
    • There's only one date that's not pretty much sold out 😂
    • Madonna lived in the UK for absolutely ages and I think is still largely London-based at the moment.  I'm sure she'll be well aware.     But it wouldn't need to be either / or.  Lots of acts do both  - Glastonbury for the hype and BST for the pay.
