Personally ive not seen kasabian live before and im quite looking forward to it, im not their greatest fan but i like to keep an open mind and give all bands a chance to impress me. It's not the best headline act glastonbury could have had but there will always be an alternative which is so great about glastonbury. 2 or 3 bad headline acts will not ruin my week, far from it

Arcade Fire would have been a cheap booking, as are Kasabian who have been begging to headline for years. Therefore Im building myself up to think Saturdays headliner is what they are splashing the cash on, fingers crossed for Prince.

I'll be at Kasabian, my wife has never seen them but wants to, I like some of their stuff and always enjoy spending a Sunday night at the back of the pyramid field taking in the crowd for one last time.

Id much prefer to have the biggest act on a Saturday, Friday i want to wander more, show new friends the area's, Sunday im normally suffering from a massive hangover, while still strying to get drunk, tea time I start to come off the alcohol ready for the early morning set off home, wish i could relax monday, but it means, using maybe another holiday for tues, and also maybe getting stuck in traffic. Anyway so I guess sat is the best day for me visiting the Pyramid, and been happily drunk, Do you think with the 2 act already confirmed, do you think the last act will be something totally different, e.g, like Jay Z, Beyonce was?

Saw em at Glasto 2007?... was too fucked up to give an opinion but looked good on TV when I got back home

Saw em at T in The Park 2007 - Awesome

Saw em at Glasto 2009... Really disappointed, was pretty far back and really looking forward to it but the sound was awful and they were prettt poor imo

Saw em at Leeds Fest 2012 - Awesome.... really good set, and a great end to a festival.

Kasabian are big enough to headline, they have enough good BIG songs to pull it off.

They're certainly bigger than last years Pyramid closers, although on a par in terms of the 'so-what' factor.

To be fair I enjoyed the Mumfords last year, and if theres nothing else on that me and the boys want to see (we always try and do the Sunday together), then I'm sure Kasabian will suffice. Like many have said, one or two big tunes to get people singing along to......

Erm, the football, should England reach the 2nd stage (which looks pretty unlikely), will be at 9pm at night. If anyone's crowd's going to be reduced by people going off to watch the game, it's Kasabian's. I wouldn't be surprised if they showed the goals between songs to try and keep people watching them.

In fact, their guitarist is a bit of a footballer isn't he, perhaps the band could have a goal on stage and do re-enactments of any interesting moments from the game? It'd make an interesting break from the tedium of their music.
