Lineup 2015

On the subject of bands doing albums from earlier, The Offspring are doing Americana as well. Sorry if it's been mentioned already.

Spotted they were doing it in Canada, mentioned up a bit I'm really hopeful they come over to the UK again, R/L seems the natural place anyway

It's my current phase

:ninja:

Probably not, but if it did happen I'd be very happy :D

Sure I saw it mentioned it would probably have been last year if they were going to play, would have to agree

Although they'd make such a tremendous sub for Metallica given the dross that's been mentioned

Have you ever seen The Enemy around? If so did you pin that ugly runt of a frontman to the floor and take a massive steaming shit on his ratty face?

Unfortunately no! I ended up seeing them last year at a 'homecoming' gig, it was awful, the band, the venue everything! Id rather just say we had the specials and be done with it

But Pixies aren't really a sub anymore and if they were it'd be a really weak one, even though it go down a storm here there would be some more mixed reactions and they wouldn't get a big crowd at all so I wouldn't consider it a strong sub but I'd love to be proven wrong

eh

Headlined King Tuts at T and subbed second stage at Glasto and their recent tour dates don't really reflect a sub position. Would be perfect on the NME though but that wont happen.....and I know....other festival positions don't affect R&L...

Anyone got any quotes from JAN a year ago saying he doesn't really like Pixies so wouldn't want them in a sub spot but would take them third down

I'm trying to think who I'd said that about last year but there are some people on here who do try to justify lower slots because they don't like the act

    • 1 - Mock Media - Rat Bastard 2 - Maquina - Body Transmission 3 - Mary in the Junkyard - Role Model Hermit   Honourable mentions to The Hu - Hun, Madonna - Confessions II, and Swapmeet - Mount Zero for also being solid.   Sadly, really didn't connect with the new Yard Act, a real shame as loved their last two albums and thought this one would be a shoe-in for AOTM, but felt it was a bit too generic..

    • See him doing either wilderness or the forest live shows more
    • I always fancied going to this one - it had my sort of lineup. Shame.
