It could always be

Arctic Monkeys - Eminem/Kings Of Leon - Biffy Clyro

with Calvin Harris on Radio 1 again? That makes sense to me as it has KOL who are bound to play scotland and with GSS last year and no announced date it's got to be T. Eminem rumour and Biffy Clyro get their headlining spot.

Calvin would be happy to headline radio 1 again in scotland where he's from

Sorry Chief, didn`t realise you were over that way ( my Prestwick flight info was clearly useless as you could get to Dublin and back by the time you would get to Prestwick ) !!

Last time I was over at Fife was at the Big Stooshie, James headlined. Was there not some talk of that making a comeback ?

Because he only does 1hr30 shows and doesn't televise it? It's all well and good grouping the two smallest ones together as coheadliners but it rarely ever happens like that plus they did specify international headliners so Calvin or Biffy wouldn't fit and Biffy and KOL.

I'd go for Eminem and The Prodigy personally.

Doubt it, Fifes in a bit of a mire when it comes to gigs at the moment, apart from when T comes around (I'm counting Kinross as local here) got one or two decent venues in my town, one that could really fill a gap where the Picture house gigs would be but there doesnt seem to be a quota for it really, unless your a past it 90s band usually

If there is an Electronic act, it could be Guetta sadly, playing France the week before

Only place I can really think of that could take on those Picturehouse gigs is the Alhambra in Dunfermline, would be good for me as I'm only 15 mins away from there lol.

Doubt they'd go for Guetta again seeing as the demand for Avicii/Tiesto is much bigger and either of them have played before. I'd rather have Hardwell in all honesty but don't think they'd consider him as a co-headliner just yet despite him being no.1 DJ in the world right now.

    • My wife works for a music company, they have an allocation already.  They run a ballot for it early next year.
    • This is my guess too.    2028 festival breaks the £400 barrier.
    • Yeah I did spot that AXS had more available for the O2 shows Muse are doing, though I think that comes with the territory of AXS now being the venue's primary ticket selling platform.    My instinct remains they'll probably still play to a big crowd on the night - sales were similarly slow in 2023 but videos of those gigs showed the venue looking pretty much full. Equally it probably would be sold out if the pricing was even just slightly less ridiculous. Shave up to £50 off some of these categories and I think that would've got people to go with it.
    • Some are definitely already there with that and with another round of inflation looking like it's on the way, it certainly locks that in. And I say that as someone who also isn't willing to break the £100 marker.
