I would think if Arctics and QOTSA were to play the same day, they'd have QOTSA subbing rather than headlining the Radio 1 stage.

I'd say Biffy Clyro to be one since their stage show is fairly elaborate and could do with the darkness. The "international" thing would suggest that the other act wouldn't be British, and I'd rule out Calvin Harris.

Katy Perry has a ridiculous stage show this time apparently, with a thing in the middle called a reflection station or something. Maybe that's what it is?

The 'two international headliner artists on a co-headliner format' doesn't scream Calvin Harris or Biffy Clyro at me. Neither are international by nationality or international by where they headline. Could it be KOL/Eminem then?

Eminem only does an hour and a half set so I wouldn't be surprised if he's one of the people on that booking.

Wouldn't arctic monkeys eminem and kol be seriously expensive though...

Skrillex has a new album out next year... And he's playing rock wercheter billed as a big act.

Maybe the plan was eminem with skrillex subbing, but skrillex would require total darkness?

It may not be about a light show in the dark it may just be that the bands want to play in the dark to both seem like headliners. Say they wanted KOL and Eminem to both play the same day I doubt one would want to come on and play in the light, it'd just seem as though they're subbing which neither will want, just a suggestion

But my GUESS for this is eminem and skrillex. They booked skrillex to sub and he wants to play in darkness. Not sure if that means he's getting a set later or after eminem. We'll see...

Skrillex would not suit the Main Stage at all, he'd be best on Radio 1 or King Tuts. Would have to be some big name house DJ like Calvin Harris/Avicii/Hardwell.
