Oh yeah came by this today, not saying drake is a headliner. But he's definitely a big seller in the UK - tickets and album.

Nothing was the same sold 63,000 copies in it's first week in the UK

Yeezus sold 24,000, MCHG 38,000.

selling nearly twice as much as Jay-z first week is something remarkable.

Gonna throw this into the mix.. thoughts on Pharrell Williams? Been doing a few shows with some DJs in the US, could be a potential King Tuts headliner / 3rd down on Main Stage maybe? Wouldn't be a bad booking in my opinion. What with Daft Punk, N*E*R*D and his own songs, I reckon he'd put on quite a decent show.

    • It would be piss-easy for a bot to manage, though.
    • I've heard that ticket sales for other events that use the same system have included the question 'are you still there?' on each window/browser you have with a place in the queue. If you don't confirm you are, it'll assume you're not and that place will drop.   I've no idea if Glasto/See will adopt this, but it would be challenging to keep on top of with many windows open.
    • People who're struggling are already priced out, so I don't think a bump in price will affect who attends. There'll still be a cross section, leaning young. I also think they'll do a soft breaking of the £400 ceiling, keeping the ticket price just below but having postage take it over. Next year the ticket itself will be over that threshold.

    • Not sure if this has been mentioned but new La Roux album out November - was meant to play in 2020 but hasn't found her way back onto a lineup. If any excuse just to hear this absolute banger on the fields next year!
