keese has proven to be reliable in the past, although not 100%.

I would still make the same point as the last time he 'returned' - it seems odd that someone who used to be so humble and not bothered about attention previously would now post this in three separate forums.

I'd say it has pretty big appeal.

2 of the biggest pop/punk bands

The biggest band in the UK atm and the most popular of the 2000s

then a proper rock band who play arenas and will keep the traditionalist happy

There's something for everyone and for some they'll love it all. Can't imagine many of the masses not being convinced by atleast one of those

If it's the same guy as before he has had correct insider knowledge in the past. Got Libs or GnR (I can't remember which one) in 2010 when no one else did I believe.

The problem here is this is kind of old news

It was G'n'R he named that no one had got - but also said the Libs were headlining when they weren't.

So his info is not faultless.

If Neil says it's not him I trust Neil.

I think it's probably him, but I also think he's bullshitting.

Not necessarily about bands he's just given, but when he posted more recently (perhaps about 6 months ago? I forget) he claimed to get access to any and all info, which is a completely different story to what he gave for how he had G'n'R in whichever year it was.

    • When are  the stage splits ??
    • 13th Primavera (Thursday was definitely making me feel like this was the cursed year).  Blood Orange was such a party by the end of their set but we all knew that rain storm was approaching.  So gutted Massive Attack didn't play after the false hope of a new rescheduling, especially knowing that Elizabeth Fraser & Horace Andy were backstage with them!  Managed a bit of Melt Banana but was just so over the weather by that point.   Friday was awesome, Rilo Kiley were so much fun.  Never been the biggest Cure fan but made the effort for them after Thursday & Robert Smith sounds like he did back in the 80s.  PinkPantheress & Viagra Boys were also great.   The highlight for me was Sudan Archives on the Saturday, she was stunning & with the Olivia Rodrigo surprise set too it made up for the Thursday sh*t show.  Dijon & Knocked Loose also superb.   Shoutout to Cardiacs on the Tuesday too, they were so LOUD, played a storming set.
    • OK, never mind, I'll take normal Nine Inch Nails.
    • Probably my least favourite of the five editions I've been to, but still plenty good enough for me to go again. Weirdly, I was just totally running out of stamina a lot earlier into the night than I remember happening in the past. I feel like I missed a lot of the weirder sets on the smaller stages as I was just totally cooked. Not Primavera's fault, obviously. Maybe I'm just getting old - or maybe I need to pace my drinking better...   Anyway - is David Byrne a realistic get for next year? Certainly hoping so.
    • watching clips of the cure in Barcelona, wow 2 hours 25 minute set. That's gonna be tough on the Sunday but can't bloody wait for it
