I dint think we'll beat Uruguay, they've some great footballers and they're more suited to that climate..

Costa Rica won't be an easy game for all those looking for the whipping boys, once again, climate will help them..

Italy, well, they're not a bad side either am they?

I think overall the draw has worked out well and most of the groups are pretty even. In the group stages Im looking forward to see if Belgium and Columbia are the real deal, or if they will collapse now the spotlight is really on. I think group C is very competitive, Ivory Coast have a lot to prove in international tournaments and have a better group than previous years, Japan are also always good to watch. Im also looking forward to seeing Bosnia who could be the underdogs of 2014 that people get behind and have been put in a group where 2nd place is realistic.

Thank you. :)

I cannot stop smiling. That's just an incredible result to get off the back of a loss. Reacted in completely the right way to our great run ending, dominated midfield and defended well, with some excellent counterattacks.

I'm not sure about transfer requests at OT, I think there's a long time to go before it gets to that stage and it'll depend if they can make a big signing in January as a statement of ambition. The question of course, is who can they attract? I can't imagine many top players thinking it'd be worth the gamble to go there - particularly in a world cup year. Where would RVP go anyway? Apart from Arsenal all the big teams made their striker signings in the summer.

    • Remain self-imposed on not going north of a hundred, but... we're getting to the point now where the starting gun will be above that for some acts.
    • I'm finding the lower line up a little impenetrable this year   Any thoughts on heavier bands a la Slift a few years ago?
    • Will be curious to see how most of those shows sell. Surprised they're playing Leeds and Manchester - much as I am with Megadeth. (Not complaining, mind you.)
