As a Chelsea fan, I'm pretty pleased with the second leg at home. If Courtois doesn't play, I fancy us to sneak it. If he does, who knows. It will be tight and I wouldn't be surprised to see it decided on away goals. Massively fancy Bayern for the other semi - second leg in Germany and Ronaldo out of the first game.

I haven't seen much of him but when Courtois was injured in February, he came in and gifted 2 goals to Almeria who beat Athletico 2:0. Courtois is an incredible keeper and will be the world's best for years. I'd already put him up there with Neuer and above Cech. To have him missing in such crucial games will be a massive blow to their defence.

I think people may be underestimating Athletico Madrid because they don't have much of a reputation at champions league level. They are narrowly ahead of both Real Madrid and Barcelona because they are a very good team. I see them as marginal favourites against Chelsea.

As for the other semi final my gut instinct is Bayern should win. However I don't know if Bayern winning the league so early will make them fresher or less sharp.

Everyone is bigging up the Liverpool v city match as a big game which will deliver. For the sake of being different, I will predict a bore draw.

lol, you're probably right.

But it was a terrific game back in the December that definitely delivered, and as Liverpool have improved since then and with Aguero making the match (he was injured for the previous) it stands a chance of being even better.

You can be sure that there won't be as high hopes when Jose parks the bus. :P

Really hope Aguero is feeling rusty! What are the chances but? He is feckin class. Of course he gets back for the Pool game. Hope its a top game and not won because of a silly mistake. Id say the atmosphere at Anfield will be pretty special, unless all the tickets are bought up by the prawn sandwich brigade! ;)http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/news/liverpool-news/internet-touts-selling-tickets-liverpool-6941141

I will just leave this here too..................disturbing!

I really can't fathom out why every game is starting at 3.07.

Seems to be a PR exercise to me.

Liverpool and Everton fair enough, have a minute silence maybe but changing kick of times reeks of publicity.

    • Judging by last night at Wembley, Luke Combs should be in the conversation of headliner. The UK is having a moment with country music so I don't think it would be particularly left field either.

    • It feels really busy this year, loads of big groups of youngsters too. Slightly different vibe to previous years I've been. As with Tramlines, they're very chatty during sets and there's a constant stream of them in and out of the crowd... definitely feeling my age 😂   The Quarry stage I think is a lot smaller than previous years - seems similar size to Squid/Leadmill. Some sets have been difficult to get in.   I think I've reached my limit with mid-tier indie guitar bands. There's been quite a few this weekend where I've gone over to see them then walked away after 20 mins. Surprisingly, enjoyed the Fratellis set the most in this genre. Probably getting on for 20 years since I last saw them. Wasn't expecting them to do Yes Sir, I Can Boogie, which was fab!   Hugely enjoyed the Happy Mondays yesterday, and same but different with Radio Free Alice who I saw again on Friday, following Tramlines last weekend. A big run of pop acts today - Scissor Sisters will be fantastic!
