Great point for stoke today, 4 points from united at home and saints away is good going. I think we should be fine, survival wise. I think it will be three of west brom, Fulham, Cardiff, Norwich.

Big Sam will keep west ham up and pulis will keep palace up say what you like about both of them but they are great in a relegation battle. I worry a little for Swansea but think they have the quality to stay up.

I think you're right, we shouldn't have got rid of Steve Clarke (go on then, say about his points per game ratio) but we didn't look as bad under him..

Last season, Lukaku scored loads, we were always going to miss him this season.. I fully believe Clarke would've kept us up, he knows the league so well.. Pepe Mel comes across a decent bloke but that ain't gonna keep you in this league.. Our technical director will be answering some questions if/when we go down as the players he signed, for large sums, haven't performed.. Of course, the players themselves are accountable for their performances but Victor Anichebe for £6m, Sessengon £6.5m.. Everton & Sunderland must've been buzzin' when them faxes came through..

Jeremy Peace is a hard nosed twit but he's kept us in the black, I do think that Pepe Mel is a bad decision..

A good example of getting what you deserve. Squandered pretty much everything and got punished for it. I have zero sympathy for teams when that happens to them. Everton supporters will say they deserved more, but they got exactly what they deserved for their wastefulness. Nothing.

Traore will surely find his way onto the starting XI soon. I think Jelavic as a useful force for Everton was finished. Both he and Everton needed him to move. Even the bang average Naismith is more useful.

Remember there's still a LOT of points to win between now and the end of the season, and there's still a lot of dross for Everton to take points against. I still forsee at least 6th for Everton. I think 4th will be a touch beyond, so it's up to Spurs really to make things more difficult for 5th.

Nah.. I think most fans knew what was going to happen going into Jan/Feb with no strikers fit. Lots of possession and no goals. I think the club made their mind up in the transfer window selling Jelavic and even letting Heitinga go 6 months early on a free to get him off the wage bill. 40 points on the board and should get 7th now.

It's fantastic watching fulham score in fergie time, after years of seeing man u do it to other teams, nice to have a season of them taking some medicine. In reality dropping points now doesn't matter as much as they may find like Liverpool this season that if your not in with the big boys, the additional games from the europa league probably aren't worth it.

    • What is too old for Leeds Fest now ?  I'm going to the Fontaines Saturday in a few weeks at 54 !!!  I may be the oldest there 🙂    Wythenshawe may be an option for WA.
    • Pretty much all festivals lose out on major artists because of production limitations though. Glastonbury is no different to most other festivals.  Lots of acts can/will adapt their tour production to suit festival stages if they want to play them, but some acts with stage designs and routines just don't want to adapt, and would rather just stick with a rigid, well-rehearsed production and take the money for their own gigs, whether that's a lot more than playing Glastonbury, or slightly less than playing some other festivals (but with added complications). Trying to adapt the stage, layout, access to b-stages etc to accommodate a single headliner on a Friday and then having to change it all around for a Saturday headliner isn't really a goer when most headliners can just easily adapt their show to stay on a main stage, if they're so inclined. They have a year to figure out how to perform a song on a main stage and ditch a few dance routines out on a b-stage if they really put their mind to it. It's not that difficult......
    • I would be all over Wolf Alice but may have outgrown this venue.    Also have to consider the schedule they have been on this year so may be on a break.  This last 10 days alone they did Tramlines, New York, Chicago and Kendal Calling.  Although make hay while the sun shines may come into play.
