Sorry for making a new thread about this but I didn't really know what to put it in....

They've just released a tour a was thinking of going but depending on what they were like live.

They've been slated alot from there Reading Fest performance but just wondered if anyone saw them at Download last night? and if so how were they? Improved? :) Thanks!

I watched them last night. Not a massive crowd i think most had gone to see airbourne. But id say an even 8/10 from where i was standing anyway.

Has anyone seen them at reading a few years ago and last night for a comparison? Like whether he's singing more compared because that would be a big improvement as it's quite clear Jared Leto has quite a good voice it's just the power and whether it lasts at shows!

Really disjointed and not enough singing. Most people seemed to be enjoying watching the guy stuck on the zip line getting bottled more. I gave them a chance but would rate their perfomance as the worst of everything I saw over the whole weekend!

30STM were definitely the worst band of the weekend for me. Always kinda liked their early stuff, and thought I would check them out since I had never seen them... dear god, what a load of shite! Jared Leto could not have been further up his own ass and he was such a creep!

Personal highlight:

Jared: "Who here has seen us before?"

Crowd: Cheers

Jared: "Who here hasn't seen us before?"

Crowd: Cheers

Jared: "So it looks like were taking some virginities here, I like that"

YOUR BAND'S DEMOGRAPHIC IS PRETEEN GIRLS YOU CREEP!

Devasted that I couldn't see both 30STM and Rammstein on the Sunday (however Slipknot and Maiden were insane) as I have Mock GCSEs this week. I needed to revise. Really pleased though that Thirty Seconds have announced some dates!

My friend and I really want to go to The 02 Arena and standing tickets are only avaliable. I will be sixteen and my friend will be 15 at the gig. On the website it says that no under 16's will be permitted in the standing area. however my friend is 6'2" and looks older than sixteen.

Shall we risk it? Are they that strict to ask for I.D??

    • I went to the O2 show as had cheap NHS tickets. I did love the whole Machine Gun Kelly vs MGK Emo/Pop Punk stuff amusing and could see that show going down well. I thought it was so funny watching the video skits of a die hard old skool fan gradually morphing in to an Emo Kid. That show with less old Machine Gun Kelly tunes and more MGK Pop-Punk would be ace.   Pair him against a heavy act on the other stage and jobs a goodun,
    • Not sure if this is allowed, but I have an additional daily ticket which I’m willing to sell for a heavily reduced price. If you, or someone you know wants to go that day, but wouldn’t for the original price, let me know.    Edit: It’s for Friday
    • Couple of standing tickets left on ticketmaster if anyone is still trying
    • Choosing  I think boycotting a festival you would usually attend simply because you don't like one of the acts is pretty petulant to be honest, just go and watch a different stage. There are plenty of the usual slam dunk attendees who would be into him, as well as attracting new festivalgoers too.
    • I've never felt it takes that long but I'm quite a fast walker 😂
