Always used to use Traveljohns and they are mighty good but decided to go for something reusable and therefore more ecofriendly. So got one of these http://www.amazon.co.uk/Unisex-PORTABLE-URINAL-Guaranteed-Travelling/dp/B002UDRETK/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1369740482&sr=8-2&keywords=urinal+bottles

Is a little bulky to carry but is easy to use and clean out.

For me it`s the petrol can. Bit bigger to carry but solid flat base and the lid is attached which saves fumbling about for it in the dark ( the lid ). Sometimes even just knowing its there is enough. Without this or something similar the thought of needing to go back outside keeps me awake.

Interesting thread this. Some excellent information.

My search is over. Got one!

Poundland has a great bottle of fabric conditioner, with a super wide neck. Any bloke who finds that opening too small needs a job as a porn star.

Extra large 2 litre capacity should easily cope with any drinking sesh. Plus, easy to hold, carry handle. Perfect.

Thanks to everyone who has contributed to this thread.

Just a little note when the litter pickers clear the site they open all the bottle of piss and tip it on the fields, because piss is quite heavy to drag about in a bag, so what your really all doing is pissing in the fields which is what the green police etc try to stop you from doing .

Also there is pretty much no recycling at the end of the festival sometimes they recycle metal poles but cans and bottles tents and all the rest of the stuff you leave will be landfilled .

I do understand that a lot of you guys have incontinence problems but it would be better if you found a toilet on site to piss in

Thats a good practice james, but Ive litter picked glastonbury at the end of the event 4-5 times and people do save their piss and shit, you wonder if they do this at home you find collections of piss bottles and containers full of shit

Again, as with gazebos, people will always do this, so it is going to be more effective to encourage good practice than attempt a complete change in behaviour.

As an ageing man who drinks far too many cans of larger i've discovered the need to pee in the night getting worse! (i know sign of ageing) i always have the dilemma of camp near the toilets (which i'll never do for obvious reasons) or take a bottle then go in the morning to dispose of and washout!

I just ca't face the walk to the loo in the middle of the night especially when its freezing!

Never a good option so this year i've treated myself to some travel johns.

It must be the way to go!

i agree, but some people are amateurs.

may i warn of the dangers of

it is never large enough (though can be adequate in the middle of the night), and without careful application, useage can result in some in-bottle pressure build up, which when removal is required (due to the the bottle not being big enough), well i don't wish to be coarse, but you know the celebrations at the end of a F1 race? only not on a podium in the open air, rather inside your tent.

and it isn't champagne.
