I've no idea, I've never used one but I presume its to do with overflow? Alcohol saturated sticky piss splashing back all over your groin olives.

Whats the capacity of these things anyway?

I had a 1.25 litre in-bottle piss - multiple bottles actually, Volvic 500ml - in the pit at Springsteen in 09. Was like Frank Drebin when he goes to the toilet still wearing the microphone.

So the Travel Johns don't scream comfort and security to me really.

You can't catch herpes from a Lenor bottle. You need direct contact.

Peeing more than a litre is not normal! When you catheterise someone, if you drain more than a litre they can go into shock apparently. I was taught to stop at 500mls to prevent bladder damage, so if you're holding on so long that you're pissing 1.25l then you're not doing yourself any favours long term.

Herpes can't survive on inanimate objects. It's a common misconception. And it doesn't make your cock stink. STIs can only be caught from direct skin to skin or bodily fluid contact.
