Got my flag & pole out (for campsite use only, not stage view blocking...), to make sure it was still all there. It has been rolled up in a plastic bag since June 2011, and when I took it out of the bag...the campsite smell!! Glorious.

Sat listening to Random Access Memories for the 3rd time in two days secretly hoping that Daft Punk will be slotted in to the line up at the last minute.

"Having a practice hangover" ha, fave message...

I had a big sort out this weekend

Rucksack, torch and Welles found (torch still works from 3 years ago, I missed 2011)

Waterproof trousers re-waterproofed and bought a new pac-a-mac

That's it for the stuff I won't be using :-) -apart from the rucksack off course

Got my train ticket and sorted out a festie-phone... Crappy old pay as you go job and got 4 extra batteries for £9 of eBay

Practiced making vodka jelly, v. Nice but you seem to get pissed 1/2 later

Looked out clothes, will need to get some cargo trousers, then I'm done!

See you all at the cider bus

  1. Bought a hat after suffering sun-stroke in the sun at a beer festival yesterday
  2. Had a practice pack of the rucksack, which quickly led to...
  3. Ordering a trolley! (super tips on the another thread)
  4. Fitted my Ralph Wiggum flag to a pole for my tent.

And obviously got increasingly more excited.

Mixed 1 part Smirnoff with 3 parts orange juice and froze 8 litres of it for the cool box as combo ice blocks/cold booze for later in the weekend.

Ordered some Sake.

Spent 4 hours digging over my allotment in the sun as practice for the heat.

Cranked my giddiness up to 11.
