Couldn't remember when the tickets were due to be sent out, am away a few times in May and beginning of June, so i went on to Seetickets to see what they were saying. Using my ref and postcode it confirmed my purchase and also gave this message:

Tickets are in stock and will be despatched shortly to the address provided.

Exciting times!

Good. The sooner they turn gives me more time to loose them. The closer to the festival they turn up the better for me!

Back in the days when you could buy tickets for the Leeds festival from the tourist office at the train station we bought some then hid them somewhere safe at my girlfriends house. We hid them too well though an when we came to try and find them 2 days before the Fest they were nowhere to be seen. We tore her bedroom apart but we found no trace. When her dad sold that house and we packed up her old room we still couldn't find them.

bastards sent me an email the other day - I thought it was a problem with my purchase but it was just a reminder to tell me all 4 of my tickets are in stock and that they would be dispatched starting in May sometime....my backside was in full 50p 5p mode for a seconds

Yes I assume this will be the case.

I've got mine being sent to my office because working on the assumption they'll be delivered between say 8am - 5pm there will always be someone at Reception to sign for them.

Gives me peace of mind rather than hoping someone will be at my house to sign for them when they get delivered!

i used to do this until 2 years ago when there was a 'mishap' with my Latitude tickets. Had put my office address down as they were either to be secure DX or Royal Mail. I got back from Glastonbury on the Monday to an email saying they were going out on the Friday and gave tracking number as they had used Royal Mail in the end. I checked the tracking and seen they had been signed for and who had signed them, i went in on Tuesday expecting them to be on my desk. They weren't, i checked my draws, not there. I spoke to the person who had signed for them, he denied it! The receptionist did say he had signed sidned for several bits of post. In the end myself and a colleague eneded up going through the bins outside and found them there still in the envelope!

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
