2013 Fine Guide/Map

With that being the case I wouldnt be surprised to see the online version be tied into UK rather than international ticket despatch.

Think we will be waiting at least a few more weeks for the map yet. To be honest its equally as exciting as another line up announcement!

I have been looking for a mention of the Glade or recently the G Stage - enjoy it late at night such as Lee Scratch Perry last time. Always reminds me of where the Travellers used to hang around too.

I had duff info last week - pretty sure again now, that much like the Glade festival it's not happening at all.

nope, possibly Arcadia - but I can't see that in amongst the trees - there used to be the Inspiral Cafe type place there, then the Glade Cafe (I think that's what it was called) - so perhaps a bigger cafe venue. I'm not certain but didn't Glade vanish years ago one year - I have a memory of it just being decorated amongst the trees there but no stage (maybe I dreamt this)

Isn't the frame for the glade stage up all year round much like the pyramid stage? I swear I remember seeing it when i've walked around the site whilst the festival isn't on before.

Would be a shame if it didn't carry on as a venue in one way or another. It's quite a unique setting in amongst the trees.

Isn't that how it was when it was an unofficial area? I can't remember correctly either but I'm sure I remember it being a decorated area with sound systems and the like but not being a "proper", scheduled stage.

Shall be sad if I don't get to experience the awesomeness that I hear tell was Glade. Surely they can't not put anything in a wooded bit though? Opps for mad art/light installations massive, no?

i was told by ME that Arcadia has moved to the Glade, make of that what you will, i agree with all the posters regarding trees etc etc.

I emailed the Web team at Glastonbury and asked with the map will be out, I received the following response last Thursday.

Hopefully soon (we've been chasing the logistics folks...)

perhaps spirit of 71 will take over where the glade was, since its next door. Simian Mobile Disco would go down well there and they seem quite big to be on a minor stage.

I seem to remember when I first started going (2003/2004) a marquee in where the Glade is/was that was a nice, chilled out place with cushioned seats and stuff. Was that the Glade Cafe?

Given the amount of changes to the site this year, it really wouldn't surprise me if the map took a loong time to come out...

Was it not the case last time round that they stopped sending out physical maps... so it could come online at any point
