Lineup 29th March.

I posted this in the "14th April" forum but I'd like to post it here aswell.

"I don't know, take what i'm saying with a pinch of salt. But my friend who is an emerging talent finalist, which also has a slot in a lower stage on another day. Has been told that he can officially announce when he is playing this friday. He said that the information would also be public.

So sorry if that sounded a little muddled, he was allowed to confirm his appearance publicly on thursday (which he did) and he's been told that his placing will be public on friday.

Sorry if I explained that really badly but does that mean that the lineup is coming on friday? Possibly?"

Discuss.

I thought about the Good Friday thing but would that make too much difference?

In the case of Glastonbury line-up releases, it's normally done with such little fanfare and just appears online that I wouldn't have thought it would matter.

Would've thought it would all be ready to be release with the click of a button once the time comes?

From what i've heard each of the 8 finalists will be playing. But the winner gets the pyramid slot, the rest play low key slots throughout the weekend.

This is what my contact posted in an email to me and many other friends who know him...

"A couple of months ago I entered a competition run by Glastonbury to perform on the MAIN STAGE At this years festival

I went through a few rounds and around 10,000 people entered..I can happily announce that I have made it to the FINAL 8."

his exact words.
