Folks, wondering what you think about Florence at this years Glasto?

She was originally on a break this year. However she has now been confirmed to be playing Coke Live Music Festival in Poland in August. I'm a huge Flo fan and from the videos on youtube she seemed to go down well in 2010. But with no album to promote, do you think she will wait until 2014?

god i hope not, because if she is there, then it will no doubt mean she'll do vocals on Gimme Shelter so it won't be a 'go and see somebody else' affair - i'll have to see her scream her way through one song. one of my favourite songs in fact

but as you said, no new album to promote so hopefully they'll give her a miss until next year...

flying half way around the world, fair enough then! i dunno if she'll be there, but she has had a habit of cropping up over the years, so i wouldn't be too surprised if she was there in some capacity.

That's true! Probably Calvin Harris (if he is there) would be the best bet. I doubt she will come out with XX again.

she's been quoted in saying that one of her career ambitions is to play the pyramid stage. even though she's not really touring, i bet she would take a sub-headlining slot on the pyramid this year. my bet is she'll be below rolling stones and she will indeed come out for Gimme Shelter.

Not true at all. Flo toured for years and years up and down the country at any gig she could, and getting *ahem* intruded on at festivals. While what you said is true to a certain extent, her big break certainly didn't come like that

The drummer in my band used to go to Brit School, absolutely hated it because everyone bullied him and said he was crap, so he decided to move to a University instead.

He's the most talented drummer/producer I know.
