Com Truise
True that, but it will be the best nigh on 4 hours of the festival
Spud001
Unbelievable performance! Think it would go down really well with the Reading crowd too And same here, absolutely adore Biffy and they are probably my favourite band, live and on record at the moment. But I've always always wanted to see NIN and they, as you say, really really will give Biffy a run for their money

Areophobia
Well I'm one of the lucky few who saw NIN at the (now famous) Sonisphere gig. Unfortunately I wasn't as into them then as I am now and songs such as Gone, Still and The Way Out Is Through completely slipped me by :/. I love virtually everything they've done, but I just hope Trent plays a gig mix of fast and slow, raw and teary. I've yet to see any of their "aggressive" stuff live yet... Com Truise
Absolutely, everything will be building towards that Sunday night for me. Really excited for FOB too despite the flak they get, used to bloody love them and seeing them at last will make me feel all young and giddy again hahaha
kaosmark2
Of course because the Soni gig was a bit of a weird one, they only really played slow songs didn't they as they hate playing 'metal' festivals? I think for this tour he'll be wise enough to mix it up, especially as RnL are the only UK shows of the year so he'll craft the set well for the shows, I trust him
Areophobia
It was an emotional goodbye set. Very poignant, and I liked how different it was from previous ones. But then, I'd stalked them to the MEN and O2 as well as seen them the previous 2 years....
SOAD
Really really hope they open with Somewhat Damaged... easily one of the best concert openers I have ever seen and it's possibly my favourite NIN song.

Spud001
I'm sure it will be a great set, they were awesome in 2007. bit offended if it is true what you say about them hating playing metal festivals tho. They have loads of fans who like them who like metal. If its true that they hate playing metal festivals then maybe they should stop taking money from metal fans who pay money to watch them at metal festivals. Maybe they should also tell those metal fans not to buy NIN t-shirts and albums too.
Mouseboy11
< yes awesome vid Spud (Somewhat Damaged at Roskilde) I love Biffy but NIN will give them a really run for their money!
lightning1000
The other 12 were paramore songs.
Spud001
One was a David Gray song. I know of its torture after hearing my mum play it daily for the last 10 years

kaosmark2
It was the only time I've seen them. At the time I was disappointed they didn't play Closer, March of the Pigs, Head like a Hole etc. I look back now an appreciate it a lot more. I just hope they play a good mix - Trent/NIN (and I don't understate this) is easily the most varied artist in the world and I hope this comes through in their set. How long do we think they'll get bare in my Biffy are supposedly getting a LONG time?
sjseabass
I really like the style of that Somewhat Damaged video, haven't seen that done before. I imagine it's a bit distracting if you're in the crowd, a guy wandering around the stage with a camera, though!

Areophobia
He is - no longer the skinny frontman! 70 minutes ey? How many songs will that be? Most NIN songs are around 5 minutes so about 14 songs?

edgar
I still keep seeing people saying 'Lol Nine Inch Nails reformed Trent must be skint' and so on. Yeah, the man who actively encouraged people to steal his music and who scored two oscar winning movie soundtracks in his 'time off' probably REALLY needs the money. I can't wait for NIN.
